Mr. Christie began his career as a law clerk for the Honorable Vernon R. Pearson in his last year on the Division II Court of Appeals, in Tacoma. The following year (1982), Judge Pearson, an original appointee to the Court of Appeals when it was created in 1969, became Justice Pearson, finishing his career on the Washington State Supreme Court.

OVERALL EXPERTISE. OVER 3 DECADES.

This clerkship began a 36-year career for Mr. Christie as an accomplished appellate lawyer, successfully arguing cases before all divisions of the Washington Court of Appeals, the Washington State Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, and two cases on briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court.  Tom and Ann have argued cases in the Washington Court of Appeals, and Tom in the Ninth Circuit.
