Legal Assistant/Rule 6 Graduate
A 2009 graduate of Fordham University (majoring in history while balancing his commitment as a full scholarship varsity soccer player for the mighty Rams) and a native of Queens, New York, Salim brings his exceptional intellect, organizational skills, and determined work ethic to our firm. Salim has completed his 4-year Rule 6 Tutorship, which allowed him to sit for the February 2017 Bar examination. He will then join the firm as an associate lawyer.
Before joining CLG, Beth worked for the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of the U.S. Attorney (W.D.WA), concentrating on civil rights matters and federal tort litigation. Prior to moving to Seattle, she served municipalities for over 15 years as a paralegal on the Arkansas Municipal League’s litigation team, focusing on civil rights defense and employment discrimination. Her background in risk management and government liability allows her to uniquely understand issues and proactively manage cases. She completed Arkansas State University’s paralegal certificate program in 2001.
Since graduating from the UC Davis paralegal studies program in 2006, Laura has worked in a variety of fields of law, which has prepared her for the diversity of matters Christie Law Group handles. The skills she has developed allow her to fully dedicate and immerse herself in each case. Laura heads up our in-house graphic and visual design department, helping us to create strong visual impact for our trial teams.
A key member of the group, with her background as Mr. Christie’s legal assistant since 1982, Maureen ensures exceptional continuity and cohesiveness across many facets of the firm and its cases.
